My Mini Memoirs

A writing program to evoke short personal essays, healing narratives, and optional performance opportunities.

What is My Mini Memoirs?

My Mini Memoirs is an expressive writing program designed to unlock short personal stories about life, love, grief, loss, and everything in between. Program options include:

  • Introductory workshops

  • Multi-session class series

  • Writing groups

  • Performance opportunities (optional)

Whether you are a new or experienced writer, the focus is more on getting your thoughts out and your stories down than critiquing your work. However, some basic writing tips will be shared to bring structure, life and healing narratives to your pages.

Each session includes writing prompts to spark stories highlighting different ages, stages, defining moments, and more.

Participants find great value in the structure and accountability of writing together and witnessing each other’s stories.

About Me

I never considered myself a writer or had any motivation to write about my life until my mom shared her collection of memoirs with me.

She was my inspiration to write, form a group and become a facilitator of the craft. Writing and sharing stories has opened up my world in so many ways…
